Full-Time Physical Therapist

Job Description:

MHR is looking for a full-time on-site Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy. The Physical Therapist will also educate and empower patients on self-care techniques and exercises.

Our clinicians see a variety of patients, including orthopedics, pediatrics, sports injury, joint replacement, workers' compensation, and geriatrics. MHR also employs an experienced Hand Therapist for those who may be looking to work alongside a licensed and credentialed Certified Hand Therapist. All patients receive a comprehensive evaluation and customized treatment sessions with the same Physical Therapist in order to meet patient goals. Our skilled clinicians utilize manual skills, progressive exercise, skilled aquatics, Functional dry-needling, and other modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

MHR is a privately owned Outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy clinic based in Waterboro, Maine. MHR has a branch site in Springvale, Maine, and is also associated with Foothills Physical Therapy in Cornish, Maine. Our mission is to provide high-quality, personalized care to patients in the local community. We offer a wide variety of services to help patients recover from injuries, live with chronic conditions, and improve their overall quality of life. MHR currently employs 6 full-time Physical Therapists and 2 Occupational therapists. Our Waterboro facility (7000 square feet) includes a 90-degree/20x40 therapeutic pool (aquatic therapy) and a full fitness facility with cardio and weight training equipment.

Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, managing office tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Duties:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to clients and visitors.
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting guests and answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Utilize computer systems to manage information efficiently, including proficiency in phone systems and office software.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a productive environment.
  • Handle incoming correspondence and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer support or as a medical receptionist is preferred but not required.
  • Strong office management skills with the ability to function effectively as a clerk.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient computer literacy with experience in standard office software applications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
