Yoga is an ancient practice which began in India five thousand years ago. The practice of yoga improves flexibility, strength, balance, posture, breathing, and endurance. Regular practice of yoga enables us to decrease overactive stress responses in the body thereby decreasing risk of certain illnesses.

Certified by Yoga Alliance, Leslee Hartwell has been practicing Iyengar, Vinyasa, & Ashtanga Yoga for ten years and teaching fulltime for over 4 years. Classes offered are appropriate for all fitness levels. Experienced in teaching students 3-83, she offers the following classes: Yogilates (yoga+pilates inspired postures), Iyengar, Vinyasa, Restorative, Meditation, Yoga for seniors and Kid Yoga. Her teaching philosophy:
"I believe that everyone has the ability to heal, nourish and strengthen oneself through yoga." She enjoys learning new styles and teaching techniques to pass along in order to make her yoga class interesting and physical beneficial.
